Xiaomi has announced that its new Xiaomi 15 series smartphones will be launched in China next week. The company will introduce these flagship devices, which feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and HyperOS 2.0, at an event on October 29 at 7:00 PM in China (4:30 PM IST). Alongside the Xiaomi 15 series, the event will also unveil the Xiaomi Pad 7 series, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, and Band 9 Pro.
The official images show a sleek design for the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, with a micro-curved screen and a triple rear camera setup developed with Leica. The design is similar to the previous Xiaomi 14 series, maintaining the brand’s style.
Both models have slim bezels and rounded corners. The Xiaomi 15 Pro features a quad-curved screen protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0, while the standard Xiaomi 15 has a 6.36-inch display.
Xiaomi’s SVP Adam Zeng confirmed that the Xiaomi 15 series will be the first smartphones in global markets to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and will include Xiaomi’s HyperCore technology. The phones are expected to launch in other markets outside China in the coming months.
