Orchid Overnight Superyacht, Abu Dhabi’s first floating hotel, now open at Yas Marina offering 31 luxury rooms, royal suites, curated dining, and 360-degree views.

Yas Marina has unveiled Abu Dhabi’s first-ever floating hotel with the arrival of the Orchid Overnight Superyacht, a five-star luxury experience now open for bookings. Operated by Dutch Oriental, the superyacht combines the exclusivity of yachting with the comforts of a luxury hotel.

The vessel features 31 rooms, including:

  • 24 Superior Rooms (25 sqm) with king or twin beds and private bathrooms
  • 4 VIP Rooms (30 sqm) with en suite bathrooms
  • 3 Royal Suites (60 sqm) with living area, sofa bed, hot tub, and shower

Prices start at Dh990 per night, with guests enjoying 24-hour concierge and housekeeping, smart room automation, and a 360-degree sun deck.

Jassim Albastaki, general manager at Yas Asset Management, said:

“The launch of Orchid Overnight marks a bold new chapter in Abu Dhabi’s hospitality scene. Combining the elegance and exclusivity of a superyacht with the comfort of a luxury hotel, it offers a truly one-of-a-kind experience.”

Dining experiences include curated menus by on-board chefs, full-board packages, and 24-hour in-room service. Starting in October, sundowner and dinner cruises will also be offered. The yacht can be privately hired for weddings, corporate events, or full buyouts of all 31 rooms.

Swapnil Patrikar, general manager for hospitality and business development at Dutch Oriental Megayachts, added:

“Choosing Yas Marina as the home of The Orchid Overnight was a natural decision. Its facilities and prime location make it easily accessible for visitors from both Abu Dhabi and Dubai.”

The Orchid Overnight joins other floating hospitality ventures in the UAE, such as Dubai’s Queen Elizabeth 2 hotel, with upcoming projects including the Kempinski Floating Palace.
